The summer that never came to London seem to be at its end, especially when the long waited summer trip to Norway wrapped up on Sunday.
I seem to have brought the rain with me too. But gotta say London looks so much more miserable in the rain than Norway.
I had a fabulous time up in Norway, a very different trip indeed, lots of outdoor activities which is really refreshing, especially when there were so much water and rain. Just a quick rundown on the trips highlight:

Day 1 - Train from Oslo to Voss, train hiked up all the way to 1222 m.o.h, saw glaciers and endless lakes, waterfalls and mountains. Managed to give the right direction and took my travel partners safely to the hostel 700m from the train station. :D

Day 2 - Flam railway, cruise down the fjord and bus ride up the 13 hair pin turn. Nice scenery until we saw it from a different angle on Day 3.
Day 3 - Kayaking down the fjord in the rain, shower and sun; outdoor lunch including pork chop and pasta cooked using the basic equipment and natural way. :D

Day 4 - Seafood feast @ Bergen but then followed by a hell of a boat ride to Stavanger.

Day 5 - Hike up the Pulpit Rock in the rain got quite wet but all worth it when you see the view from the top.
Day 6 - The nervous boat ride back to Bergen, finally had our Mr. Lee instant noodle (I think all of us were very satisfied with it). Had a really nice fish soup for dinner. =D

Day 7 - Sadly the last day of my Norway trip :( we did a day tour to Edvard Greig's house and then saw a stave church.
So that's pretty much Norway in the nutshell for me. Lots of fun and laughter, great travelling buddies, the best way to wrap up my summer 2007.
