Easter @ the Lakes

Tuesday, April 10, 2007

A relaxing Easter break at the England Lake District. Indeed a very peaceful place, hill after hills of green farm land. Very fortunate to have 3 days of sunny and blue sky weather, making this trip even more enjoyable.

Sometimes you do wonder how life would be when you are in such remote location and so self-contained? I do admit I am very much a city girl but over the years I have started to appreciate all the hiking and outdoor activities more and more...is that a sign of aging or just need some detox from city pollution?

It is always interesting when you bring people from similar brought up but different personalities together. People would naturally imagine when you bring eight girls together to a trip you are asking for trouble. Although we did a few blonde things...didn't manage to get off at the train stop, being overly loud everywhere we went...we still managed to get along with each other and enjoyed each other's company. It is always nice to meet new friends.

Um..seems like there is a flu going around the world (at least in London, Osaka and New York). For those who are sick, please take care and get well soon, make sure take lots of vitamin C!!! *hugs*
